121030 [NEWS] FT Island’s Drummer Choi Min Hwan Cast in First Musical Show [SEUNGHO AND G.O MENTIONED]
FT Island’s drummer Choi Min Hwan is joining the likes of Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Key, and BEAST’s Yoseob to become the latest idol singer to debut as a musical actor.
It was reported on October 29 that the star drummer has been cast for the role of Ji Yong in the Korean musical, “Kwang Hwa Moon Love Song.” He will join the production team starting from the Osaka concert on November 10 and will continue to appear on the show during the Tokyo performances next year.
“I’ve always been at the back of the stage as FT Island’s drummer, so I’m a little nervous to stand in the front as a musical actor. It’s true that I’m extra nervous because it’s an overseas performance, but I’ll make sure to be professional and show a good performance,” Choi Min Hwan said.
The musical “Kwang Hwa Moon Love Song” was the most popular musical show in 2011 and 2012. It’s star-studded cast, featuring DBSK’s Yunho, ZE:A’s Kevin, and MBLAQ’s G.O. and Seungho made headlines even prior to its first show. The Osaka shows will be held from November 10 to December 2, while the Tokyo performances will be held from January 1 to 27, 2013.

121030 [NEWS] Idol Version of the Love Reality Show “The Romantic” to Air in November
tvN’s love reality program, “The Romantic” is back and will feature some of the hottest idols of 2012. Previously, “The Romantic” featured ordinary men and women as they travel to an unfamiliar place for 9 nights and 10 days to get to know each other and find love. But instead of ordinary men and woman, the show will feature idol stars with a new title, “The Romantic & Idol.”
“The Romantic & Idol” will be produced by the “Answer Me 1997” production team and will feature eight idols. These eight idols will travel to Jeju Island and go on dates and create budding love lines with each other.
The male stars include 2PM‘s Min Joon (a.k.a. Junsu), MBLAQ‘s Mir, JJ Project‘s JB and ZE:A‘s Hyung Shik. The female stars include 4minute‘s Nam Ji Hyun, Rainbow‘s Oh Seung Ah, AOA‘s Hye Jung and FIESTAR‘s Jei.
Escaping from their busy schedules, these idols will be traveling to the romantic island of Jeju. The show will portray their real, everyday lives as they take part in this romantic vacation. The idol stars will get to go on movie-like dates and the show is planning on displaying each idol’s feelings as well as the dilemmas toward one another.
The main PD stated, “Through ‘The Romantic & Idol,’ viewers will be able to experience that fluttering excitement of dating and first love.”
4minute’s Nam Ji Hyun has already updated her fans with a photo of herself and the beautiful ocean of Jeju Island.
“The Romantic & Idol” will be airing on November 11.

121031 [NEWS] MBLAQ’s Seungho stole women from his friends on two occasions?
He revealed this fact on a recent episode of MBC‘s ‘Idol Manager‘, surprising everyone. The MBLAQ members were asked to pick a song that made them cry and had a personal connection to. Seungho picked “My Woman” from The One as the song that made him cry, and MC Park Kyung Lim asked if he had ever had his woman stolen from him.
He answered, “I haven’t had my woman stolen, but I’ve stolen from others“. When asked how many times he’d done it, he answered that he’d done it twice. G.O teased, “He did it once and liked it, so he kept doing it“. Seungho smiled and said, “You can’t do it to people you don’t know. I’m still friends with them and talk to them.“

They have given a joy by playing with children from Myunghwa Nursery and doing a canteen volunteer work.
The rice that the MBLAQ gave that day was a part of rice that fans from different countries have sent to support MBLAQ's first Asia tour concert which was opened on last July.
Suseo-dong area was able to solve one warm meal for 16,600 children from low-income family through MBLAQ's donation.
