Idol edition of 'The Romantic' will be launched.
On the 30th, tvN announced "on the 11th of next month, love reality program 'The Romantic''s idol version 'The Romantic&Idols;' will be aired."
'The Romantic' is a reality program about a group of public males and females going on a trip to an unfamiliar place for 10 days and 9 nights to get to know one another. It airs since last February and had received lots of love. This time round it will rebirth with an idol version.
'The Romantic&Idols;' ambitiously reunite the protagonists of tvN 'Reply 1997'. Lineup from Park Sungjae PD, 'Reply 1997''s main PD Shin Wonho to writer Lee Woojung. It is expected to have the 8 best idols in the nation to be in Jeju Island for a more lively date than a movie.
'The Romantic&Idol;' includes popular male idols 2PM Minjoon, MBLAQ Mir, JJ Project JB, Z:EA Hyungsik, etc and 4 Minute Nam Jihyun, Rainbow Oh Seungah, AOA Haejung, Fiestar's Jei making their appearances. They are expected to enjoy a special and busy dating schedule in Jeju Island.
Park Sungjae PD responded "it is a love variety program with sensational games and movie like dates with the beautiful scenery in Jeju Island, which will put conflicts in the psychological mind and lyrical details among opponents."
He also added "there will be the excitement of dating for the first time after a long time, and also to date and love vicariously" increasing anticipations.
'The Romantic&Idol;' will be aired on November 11 (Sun) at 10 o'clock at night.
