Lee Joon cleared up rumors that tied him and 4minute′s Hyuna together.

The singer spoke up on the June 25 broadcast of SBS′ Hwashin.

When asked about his rumors with Hyuna, Lee Joon said, "Is it okay to say the real names like this? I know about this rumor too."

MC Bong Tae Gyu added to the question, "There are rumors that some people saw you close together with Hyuna on a plane. Your agencies said you were filming the music video for Bubble Pop, but the music video didn′t have any scenes on a plane."

Lee Joon answered, "It is true I sat with Hyuna on the plane. It would′ve been weird to sit separately when we′re friends."

Lee Hyori said, "I always sit separately. Even if the business area is empty, I almost always sit separately because it′s uncomfortable [to sit close]."

"Hyuna was having a hard time during the shoot," Lee Joon explained. "I comforted her and had a meal with her. I think the flight attendant who saw us taking a photo together mistook it to be a show of affection. Hyuna is just a friend."

Before he was a star, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon was a big fan of Fin.K.L.

Lee Joon appeared as guest on SBS’ Incarnation, aired on June 25, where he was asked if he was close with 2NE1’s Sandara Park, CL, or Lee Hyori, who used to be the leader of Fin.K.L.

Although he admitted he’s not really friends, Lee Joon shyly pointed to Lee Hyori saying, “I really liked Fin.K.L.”
Seeing how nervous he was, Lee Hyori joked, asking if he was scared of her, but Lee Joon shook his head, explaining. “I used to follow Fin.K.L around on promotions and stuff, so my feelings right now are so weird.”

When Lee Joon said he used to go watch Fin.K.L perform around Forever days, Sandara Park piped up, asking Lee Joon if he ever saw her around, revealing that she was also a Fin.Kl fan.

“Who knew this could ever happen,” said Lee Joon, on working side-by-side with Lee Hyori.

He later added that when he was in junior high school, he even had a dream where he and Lee Hyori went to play at the beach.

"It made me really happy," said Lee Joon. "I used to like Sung Yuri the best, but after that, Lee Hyori became number one."

The drama has been running to favorable reviews in Korea.

Although he’s been in plenty of scandals with idol girl group members, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon says he’s never dated a celebrity.

On June 25, Lee Joon appeared as a guest on SBS’ Incarnation, explaining and clearing up dating rumors. He then explained that he just can’t date any celebrities.

When asked how he feels when he sees his fellow idol group members dating each other, Lee Joon says he can’t date because of that.

“I can’t say who they are, but idol A dates idol B, and then all of the sudden, A dates C and B dates D – it’s not the animal kingdom!” said Lee Joon, explaining the limit to dating within the industry.

“What if this girl group idol that I liked dated my best friend, and then I dated that female idol without knowing? Then the relationship between all three of us could get really awkward.”

Kim Hee Sun then asked how many celebrities he’s dated, and Lee Joon answered none, despite many dating rumors.

“I really haven’t dated. If I did, I’m the kind of kid that will get caught because I would want to brag and go public about it,” said Lee Joon, drawing laughter.

Lee Joon refuted all rumors of him dating HyunA on the June 25 episode of SBS' 'Incarnation'.

After the pair filmed HyunA's music video for "Bubble Pop" together, rumors had spread that the pair were dating.

To accusations that the pair were being especially touchy while together in an airplane, Lee Joon explained, "It's true that we sat next to each other on the plane coming back after we filmed the MV. But it would be weirder to sit apart after we got close filming the MV. But I think the stewardess mistook what happened after watching us take a selca together."

He added, "It's true that we're close, but we're definitely not dating. She's way too young."

Former DMTN member Day Day (now David Kim) is working on MBLAQ's repackage song.

David Kim works frequently with the famous producer duo Duble Sidekick, so this may mean that MBLAQ's repackage song may include the work of Duble Sidekick as well! Day Day wrote on his Instagram, "just finished recording new tracks for#mblaq's repackage album#comingsoon (pic of dublekick studio mikey's room)".

The boys are still promoting "Smoky Girl", but at least this news of a repackage means that even when their promotions for their title track is done, they'll be back soon with their repackage song!

This week for Music Monday, Simon and Martina reviewed MBLAQ‘s “Somky Girl” music video.
They thought it was easily one of the best songs of the year. The music video is also great in that the music really takes the forefront, instead of having crazy visuals and zoom-ins. The dance was also smooth an complicated enough to match the adult vibe of the song.
Watch their full review!

130621 [NEWS] What were they thinking? Some of the Worst K-pop group names

Source: allkpop
Reuploaded: blaqrain@mblaqwithusa

I put MBLAQ first since this is a MBLAQ site but still had to add the rest because I laughed so hard. Let' see what you think of the nameS. Nothing bad said about MBLAQ'S name.

If you've been a die-hard follower of K-pop through the years, or if you've just hauled yourself up on the bandwagon recently, you might've noticed that some of the group names in the industry are certainly... out there.

Think about it: though names are but a collection of a few letters from the alphabet, they command your attention anywhere and in any situation. It's no question that the K-pop industry has been getting a bit crowded recently. New idol groups are emerging left and right and fighting for our attention. And albeit harsh, sometimes it gets difficult trying to keep tabs on freshly debuted groups.

But like all matters of our subconscious workings, whenever we feel overwhelmed by the smaller units, we tend to look for the overarching trends.

Rest assured, though, because we think we may have found one - group names.
              MBLAQ

This could go both ways: Either the producers loved the way the initials "MBLAQ" looked together, so they desperately conjured up "Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality" to correspond to the letters. Or, the producers thought they were so clever coming up with "Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality" that they decided to use the first initials of their English concoction.

The idol era that we so eagerly consume today traces its roots back to old school K-pop - a magical time when pants like these made ladies lose their senses:

But more so than the pants, we tend to associate the time with some of the group names that we can't seem to erase from our memories.

Why we can't erase the names from our memories is completely open to interpretation. Perhaps you were an overly hormonal teenager who looked up to these groups at this time, or maybe you vaguely remember their names from watching the TV when you were a toddler.

Whatever the case may be, let's look at some of the leading groups that became household names back in the day.

M.I.L.K.
Not the kind you drink with cookies. M.I.L.K. actually stands for "Made in Lovely Kin."   For anyone out there who knows what that means, please enlighten me.

Baby V.O.X.
"Baby Voices of Xpression." Notice they drop the "e" in expression, ladies and gentlemen.

g.o.d.
If you thought their group name was any indication of their spiritual beliefs, you're so wrong. g.o.d. actually stands for "Groove Overdose." Why? I'm not sure.

H.O.T.
And no, their group name has nothing to do with their attraction levels or magnetic charm. H.O.T. actually stands for "High-five of Teenager." I desperately wish I can say "SIKE," but I can't.

Fin.K.L
Though Fin.K.L is actually an abbreviated form of "Fin Killing Liberty," I can't help but wonder whether the creative genius behind that name accidentally misread the "u" in Fun for an "i." Not that "Fun Killing Liberty" would've made any more sense than "Fin Killing Liberty" regardless.

Young Turks Club
I kid you not. This mixed group actually called themselves the Young Turks ClubAfter a little research I found out that the Young Turks were a secularist Turkish nationalist reform party in the early 20th century. How that relates to K-pop, I have no idea.

Back then, it could have very well been possible that the producers behind the names didn't have an extensive knowledge of English to know which choice words to string together for their groups.

Here are some of the more recent names you might be more familiar with:

TRAX

Typhoon of the Rose Attack on X-Mas. They claim that the name is based on the member's stage names, but omg - it truly is an unfortunate name.

C-REAL

It's cute that they made a relatively harmless group name using the first initials of all the members' names. But honestly, this is all I see:

CHI CHI

"Creative electronic House Idols." Coming from a group that doesn't really scream electronic genre, their name is quite bold.

YMGA

"Young Men Gangsta's Assocation." You know you're truly living the thug lyfe when you spell gangster "gangsta."

H.A.M.

I mean...

Here are the ladies of "Heart and Mind."

TOUCH

"The Original Undeniable Charismatic Homme.
... the what?

BTS

This recently debuted boy group is known as "Bulletproof Boy Scouts" or "Bangtan Boys." Quick food for thought, though - why would boy scouts need to be bulletproof? What type of survival techniques are scoutmasters teaching kids these days? Anyways, of the two names, y
ou decide which is better. Not to mention two of their members call themselves Rap Monster and SUGA. Sounds like they'll be serving up a serious dose of awesomeness in the near future with names that fierce.

What are some of your worst K-pop group names?
