It’s official! A press conference was held today in Kuala Lumpur announcing this coveted event to members of the media. The 27th Samsung Galaxy Golden Disk Awards is confirmed to be held over two days from 15th January 2013 (Album category) til 16th January 2013 (Digital Music category). Venue of this event will be at the Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The local Malaysian daily, The Star has also reported about this announcement post the press conference today
This award event will see over 20 k-pop artists attending to receive their awards and perform at the ceremony. The event is expected to also see LIVE performances by a selected number of k-pop artists.Among some of the artists expected to grace the event are: Big Bang, 2AM, 2NE1, EPIK HIGH, PSY, MBLAQ, KARA, TVXQ, WonderGirls, Super Junior, Infinite etc (see pic below – credit: HypeMy). Tickets are expected to go on sale via TicketPro on the 9th December 2012 with an early bird special for those who make their purchases before the 15th December 2012. Ticket prices have been announced and each ticket purchased gives access to both dates. All tickets are free standing.
