Rain Shows UP In Wangsimni

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) serving in the army, shows up in Wangsimni.

When Rain suddenly showed up while the actors in the movie, "R2B : Return To Base", were thanking the audiences on stage after the movie was over at CGV theater in Seoul's Wangsimni at 7:00pm on August 22nd, the audiences just went wild.

On this day, the "R2B : Return To Base" team was planning to thank the audiences who saw the movie. While thanking the audiences after the movie, actor "Kim Sung Soo" said, "Is there any soldier here? if so, raise your hand, please." People who did not know what was happening, whose faces wore puzzled looks, and they started turning to look around.

When "Kim Sung Soo" pressed somebody to do so again, a man put his hand up from behind the seats and all eyes were focused on him. It was Rain who gave an impassioned performance as the lead in this movie.

Then, a quiet stillness prevailed at the moment, but all the people stood and cheered loudly in disbelief, and Rain greeted the cheering people by waving his hands, giving them a bashful smile.

Rain even captivated the audience with his remarks, "I feel kind of shy to be seen in public because I am a soldier. Please understand that. I enjoyed the movie. I hope many of you love the movie."

About this, "R2B : Return To Base" officials expressed, "They say Rain was at the theater at the invitation of "Kim Sung Soo". Nobody knew that Rain would be there. We thought that couldn't be true. We even heard that some people wondered if he was Rain or not during projection. Yes, and we were surprised."

According to the officials, Rain was enjoying his vacation for five days. Rain accepted the offer he got from "Kim Sung Soo" and went to the theater after finding out that the actors' would thank the audiences on the last day of his vacation.

His military service prevented active participation in any promotion for the movie, but he gave his fans a surprise present during his vacation.

Meanwhile, after his surprise appearance event, Rain will be returning to his army base from a five day-long vacation.

In the poll, more than 46% (205) of respondents (450) stated they thought of Rain as the
star who has a great and strong physique, and Rain was chosen as #1 by an overwhelming majority of votes.

The respondents who cast votes for Rain, posted comments, "Rain's collarbone is also
sexy." "The water seems to collect in Rain's collarbone." etc. Rain who has recently served in the army, stars in recently released film "R2B : Return To Base", which attracts the attention.

In the poll, Rain was number one (46%). Pop group Big Bang's G-Dragon was second (13%).

‘We Got Married’ producers consider MBLAQ’s Lee Joon for new couple line-up

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon has recently been named one of the possible new additions to MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘.

According to industry rumors, Lee Joon has been considered by producers as one of the nominees of the show’s new couple. Representatives of MBC stated on August 17th, “As characteristic of ‘We Got Married’, a lot of celebrities are being named at the moment, and Lee Joon is included in the nominations. But he’s just a nominee and that has nothing to do with whether his casting will be confirmed or not.”

They added that for the time being, they will be going on with their original couples and the newly announced couple. “We will be going on with Lee Jang Woo and Ham Eun Jung, and Leeteuk andKang Sora as well as the newest addition of Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah without any departures.”

As Leeteuk is slated to begin his military service this year, that leaves a new opening in the ‘We Got Married’ slot, one that has left fans wondering whether Lee Joon will fill the gap, especially with the news of actress Oh Yeon Seo having already been confirmed as part of a new couple starting in September.

Lee Joon’s agency stated, “There has been nothing confirmed yet, and we have nothing as a company to say further on the matter.”

‘We Got Married’ will begin its broadcast with their newest confirmed couple Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah on August 18th.
