130126 [NEWS] Laws of the Jungle 3′ gains its highest viewer rating yet with latest episode
According to AGB Nielson Media Research, the January 25th broadcast of ‘Laws of the Jungle 3′ achieved an impressive viewer rating of 19.3% nationally and 21.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area. This was a 1.9% increase from its previous viewer rating of 17.4% nationally and marks their 5th consecutive week dominating the Friday time slot.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV‘s ‘VJ Special Forces‘, MBC‘s ‘Birth of A Great Star 3‘, and the premiere of SBS’ ‘Discovery of Trends‘ achieved a 9.2%, 7%, and 5.7% viewer rating, respectively.

130125 [NEWS] Military PR Units No Longer to Receive Special Treatment
The Ministry of National Defense has stepped in to stop Defense Media
Agency (DEMA) PR agents from receiving more leaves than the average
soldier.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on January 24, the army has cut off leaves or other rewards usually given to PR agents following performances in outer events. It has also emphasized that the agency should give PR agents the same number of leaves that are given to the average soldier, stopping them from receiving special treatment.

PR agents will also no longer be able to leave their unit alone even for
work purposes. According to the new rules, PR agents must be
accompanied by an executive whenever they must leave their unit, and
they must return to their unit before 10:00 p.m.
When they are taken to another unit to perform in a military event, they must lodge within the unit or stay in welfare facilities, and they will be stopped from meeting outside civilians.
The new rules were put in place following a great public uproar that sparked from news that singer Rain used his leaves for personal means and meetings.

130126 [NEWS] ‘Iris 2’ Unveils Latest Heart-Pounding Trailer
The producers of Iris 2 have been promising bigger thrills and chills, and from the looks of the latest teaser, they may be right.
KBS unveild the latest teaser for Iris 2 on the drama′s homepage on January 25.
Various heart-pounding scenes are jam-packed into the short, 30-second spot, giving us the first glimpses of Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, Yoon Du Jun and others in action. With explosions, gun fights, chases and torture scenes all seen in Iris 2’s trailers, anticipation for the sequel drama is building for fans.
A spokesperson for the drama shared, “This production will feature even
more dramatic action scenes and will be supported by a tight and
quick-paced storyline at the same time.”
Iris 2 premieres on February 13, but you can catch the new teaser trailer below
