130105 [NEWS] KARA’s Gyuri and MBLAQ’s Thunder to star in new drama ‘Nail Salon Paris’
This will be the first time for both to take on acting as main characters, making it a special project for the two. However, it’s not their first time trying their hands in the acting field as Gyuri has experience with musicals and KARA’s Japanese drama, along with a cameo for sitcom ‘What Is Mom‘. Thunder has also made a cameo in the drama ‘Padam Padam‘.
Despite the short cameos in dramas, the two made a lasting impression on viewers, and are now finally getting another turn at returning to the small screen through their upcoming project, ‘Nail Salon Paris‘.
The drama will center around a beauty salon and will premiere in March on MBC!

130104 [NEWS] American Box Office Hit Movie Producers Reveal Why They Cast Rain in Their Movies
Directors, writers and producers Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski, who are siblings, were invited as guests on the January 3 episode of the MBC variety show, “Golden Fishery.” Despite being the producers behind many box office hits including “The Matrix,” it was their first time appearing on a talk show of any kind in their lives.
On air, Lana Wachowski highly praised Rain and shared why she cast him in the film, “Speed Racer.” She commented, “When I saw his performance videos and his movie, ‘I’m a Cyborg, But That’s Ok,’ I became mesmerized by his charm.”
Rain has so far been in two of Wachowski’s movies- “Speed Racer” and “Ninja Assassin.”
Meanwhile, “Cloud Atlas” which is co-produced by the Wachowski’s and Tom Tykwer, will premiere in Korea on January 9. The movie cast includes Bae Doona, Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Halle Berry, Susan Sarandon and Jim Sturgess.

130105 [NEWS] ‘We Got Married’ viewers lash out against decision to keep Oh Yeon Seo on the show
Previously, many had asked for Oh Yeon Seo to be removed from the show, stating, “Now you know everything is fake” and “Part of the appeal of this show is believing that they really have feelings for one another“.
However, as you know, the ‘We Got Married’ staff recently announced that the couple will be staying on the show because they had confirmed with Oh Yeon Seo, who had stated that she was not dating Lee Jang Woo.
The announcement has not been received well for the most part as viewers are lashing out on the official ‘We Got Married’ viewer board (can be seen here), commenting along the lines of, “MBC got rid of a sitcom, and now they’re making ‘We Got Married’ into one“, “Are you trying to mock the viewers?“, “Oh Yeon Seo why do you keep changing your words”, “Are you kidding me”, ‘Backstabbing Oh Yeon Seo, leave the show”, and “I don’t want to watch this show anymore“.
It’s not all negativity, for amongst the majority there are some who agree with the decision, writing, “Give them a chance”, “Let’s stop this, they said they are not dating”, and “Oh Yeon Seo & Lee Joon fighting!”
The board is flooding with comments protesting the decision, and many angry are also voicing their frustration on the comments section of the Korean articles regarding this issue.

130105 [NEWS] ‘We Got Married’ makes their decision about Oh Yeon Seo-Lee Joon couple
A few days after the report of actress Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Jang Woo being involved with one another, ‘We Got Married‘ has made their official decision regarding what to do with the Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Joon couple of the show.
The production staff of the show revealed, “After the report of the relationship scandal between Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Jang Woo, the production team met with Oh Yeon Seo and confirmed whether it was true.”
According to the staff, Oh Yeon Seo is said to have told them “Lee Jang Woo and [I] are just close sunbae-hoobae and we have no romantic feelings for each other at all, and the relationship scandal is not true at all.”
They continued, “From what we have found, the relationship scandal is not true. Therefore, Lee Joon-Oh Yeon Seo couple will not be leaving the show and will continue with broadcast and filming as normal.”
This comes after the varying statements released by Oh Yeon Seo’s representatives and the official press release statement that had stated, “They’ve only spent time with each other about 2~3 times with acquaintances present, so we can’t say they’re officially in a relationship.”
