130105 [NEWS] Mir faces an emergency situation on ‘Laws of the Jungle’

 

Mir suffered an emergency situation on the January 4th installment of ‘Laws of the Jungle‘.

In the episode, Mir had gone ahead with Kim Byung Man to check the depth of the river. However, he was sent back by himself, and ended up being stranded in the river that suddenly grew deep. He couldn’t swim forward because of the rapid current.

Even though Chu Sung Hoon dove into the water in an attempt at a rescue, he couldn’t reach Mir because of the severely changing depth and the current. In the end, a boat that had been waiting nearby for safety precautions had to come and rescue Mir.

When Mir came back, he said, “I was in the wrong. I got too careless. When I was going there, the water only went to my knees. I thought it would be the same situation on the way back, but the water went above my height. I know how to swim, but none of that worked. I realized how scary the jungle was“, and shed some tears.

Netizens commented, “He must have been so scared. How does the water increase so much in just 5 minutes?“, “I’m so glad he’s safe. He must have been so scared, he started crying when his adrenaline was gone.“, and “When you’re in the water, all you can think about is coming out alive. 130103 [NEWS] Who Are the Official Celebrity Couples?

 

At the start of a new year, there has been much attention going on regarding singer Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) and actress Kim Tae Hee’s dating news.  The actress’ agency confirmed the news stating, “Another public couple” is born. On January 1, Kim Tae Hee’s agency, Lua Entertainment admitted to the dating news through a press release. The agency stated that the two have interest in each other.
Furthermore, the agency revealed, “They started seeing each other about a month ago.  It’s true that they are well-known celebrities, and there is not enough time for them to have dates. There aren’t a lot of opportunities for them to meet and talk. That is why they are only slowly beginning to unveil their emotions for each other.  But it is hard to say what they are truly feeling right now.”
In addition to Rain and Kim Tae Hee, who are the other official celebrity couples?
First off, Lee Byung Hun and Kim Min Jung are currently dating.  This was confirmed in August 2012.
In June 2012, Ji Hyun Woo surprisingly confessed his love for Yoo In Na, then they became a public couple. They had appeared together on the drama “In Hyung Wang Hoo’s Man.”
It was also revealed actors Kim Joo Hyuk and Kim Gyuri became a couple after the MBC weekend drama “Mooshin.” Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon is another official celebrity couple.

130103 [NEWS] Ministry of Defense Reveals Rain’s Vacation Days, Controversy Continues

 

As we reported earlier after Kim Tae Hee and Rain’s relationship was known to the public, Rain has been caught up in nasty controversy regarding his military service. There are two issues being brought up. The first is the fact that Rain was caught outside in his military uniform but without his hat. The second is the fact that had too many vacation days. Currently, debate is going on whether celebrities are given too much of a “special status” for their military service.
The Ministry of Defense revealed that up until now Rain has used a total of 28 vacation days (Received as a reward) and was authorized to leave his military base for 54 days. In 2011 Rain used 11 vacation days and in 2012 Rain used 17 vacation days.
The Ministry of Defense stated that Rain earned these vacation days due to his various activities throughout his service. They also explained that in 2012, for 25 days he was authorized to leave base in order to record in a studio and practice dancing. Also, for 19 days he was authorized to leave base in order to perform for the military.
