121118 [NEWS] Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo become ‘culinary terrorists’ on ‘We Got Married’

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo became “culinary terrorists” on the November 17th episode of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married 4‘.

After getting together to make kimchi, the ‘We Got Married’ couples decided to assign Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo with the task of making bossam (steamed/boiled pork usually wrapped in lettuce).

Oh Yeon Seo seemed taken aback by the prospect of cooking and confessed that she had even failed at making a cup of ramen for herself. After searching for tips online, Lee Joon came up with the idea to cook the pork in wine to rid it of its gamey smell and taste.

Fearful, Lee Joon commented, “I think it’s going to explode.” Oh Yeon Seo assured him, “It’s not going to explode. It just caught on fire.”

Though the pork ended up a strange purple color, Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo as well as the other couples enjoyed the meal.

121116 [NEWS] Boom and MBLAQ’s Mir reenact kiss scenes with miss A on ‘All the K-Pop’

On the November 16th broadcast of MBC Music‘s ‘All the K-Pop‘, the hosts had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to kiss the members of miss A.

Boom and Suzy started off by reenacting a parody of Suzy’s kiss scene with actor Kim Soo Hyun in the hit drama ‘Dream High‘. Suzy innocently followed along by closing her eyes and letting Boom come towards her. However, right before they were able to kiss, MC Park Jae Min hilariously interrupted the moment, leading them to fail the mission.

MBLAQ‘s Mir expressed his jealousy of Boom and Suzy’s kiss scene and stepped up to reenact the kiss scene from Suzy’s film, ‘Architecture 101‘, with Jia. Jia was unable to hold in her nervous laughter as Mir went up to kiss her, causing Jia to accidentally spray spit in his face.

In the end, both MCs were unable to get their fantasy kiss from the miss A members.

121116 [NEWS] SBS 'Gayo Daejun' reveals team lineup for 'Color of K-Pop' project

The ‘2012 SBS Gayo Daejun‘ had previously announced its ‘Color of K-Pop‘ project, in which 20 idols would be divided into 4 groups by fan votes.

The 20 idols participating were B2ST‘s Kiwang and Yoseob, 2AM‘s Jinwoon and Jokwon, INFINITE‘s Woohyun and Hoya, MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon and G.O, TEEN TOP‘s Niel and L.Joe, KARA‘s Nicole and Jiyoung, SISTAR‘s Hyorin and Bora, SECRET‘s Hyosung and Sunhwa, 4minute‘s HyunA and Gayoon, and After School‘s Nana and Lizzy.

The groups were divided into Dynamic Black, who would work with Shinsadong Tiger, Dramatic Blue, who would work with Sweet Tune, Dazzling Red, who would work with Brave Brothers, and Mystic White, who would work with Kim Do Hoon.

The results of the voting has ended, and SBS has released the results. For the boys, Dynamic Black will be made up of Kikwang, Jinwoon, Hoya, Lee Joon, and L.Joe, while Dramatic Blue will consist of Yoseob, Jokwon, Woohyun, G.O, and Niel. As for the girls, Dazzling Red consists of Nicole, Hyorin, Hyosung, HyunA, and Nana, while Mystic White will be Jiyoung, Bora, Sunhwa, Gayoon, and Lizzy.

Seems like Hyorin didn’t exactly get her wish of being on the same team as Sunhwa, but what do you think of the teams? Which team is your favorite?

121115 [NEWS] Fan account of MBLAQ Lee Joon’s manners makes headlines

A fan account of MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon has been making headlines lately.

The following message was posted to an online community site on the 15th: “I was taking an IQ and mental test on the computer, and I noticed a female employee taking pictures with a male celebrity.”

Lee Joon must have made a great first impression as the poster went on, “I don’t know much else, but he seemed really nice. He signed autographs, took pictures, and even went on phone calls. He granted every favor.”

It seems the employees at the center wanted to keep him there as long as possible as well. “Lee Joon’s academic qualifications exam took 5 minutes. After that, 10 people went through it in a total of 5 minutes. It was the female employee’s [doing].”

121115 [NEWS] Lee Joon: “Oh Yeon Seo Fell For Me All Over Again When She Saw My Action Scenes”

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon has recently made some comments about his faux-wife, Oh Yeon Seo.

On November 13, a press conference was held for the upcoming drama, “Iris 2.” Cast member Lee Joon was asked, “What reaction did Oh Yeon Seo show when she heard you were cast in this drama?”

Lee Joon answered, “I showed her one of my action scenes. She said that I looked really cool and she fell for me all over again,” making everyone laugh.

A reporter also asked what the other MBLAQ members’ responses were to Lee Joon’s casting. He answered, “The members did not show any jealousy but they congratulated me a lot. They told me to work hard so I won’t be a disgrace to my good seniors.”

Lee Joon has been cast for the NSS security team member, Yoon Shi Hyuk. His personality is straight-forward and hot-tempered but holds no grudges. As the drama develops, Yoon Shi Hyuk will join a 6-member team that chases after the assassins.

The story of “Iris 2″ will be continue the story of the first season. It will be set from three years after Hyun Joon’s (played by Lee Byung Hun during season 1) death. The identity of “Iris” will be revealed during this season.

The cast includes Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, Oh Yeon Soo, Kim Young Chul, Kim Seung Woo, Yoon Doo Joon, Lee Joon, Kang Ji Young and Lim Soo Hyang. It will air in February of 2013.

With production kicking off soon, the cast of Iris 2 has held its first script reading for the show.

The heavily-anticipated sequel to the hit 2009 drama kicked off its script reading recently where the likes of Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, Oh Yun Soo and others came together.

The engaged actors passionately rehearsed their lines while familiarizing themselves with one another.

Jung Tae Won, the head of the production agency behind the drama, said, “I’m certain we will be able to break the notion that Iris 2 cannot surpass the previous show. I hope that the drama will long and fondly remain in the minds of viewers and that the actors create good memories from the production.”

Director Kim Tae Hoon also shared he wished everyone would be healthy and happy during the upcoming shooting period.

Iris 2 premieres on KBS on February 13 next year
