MBLAQ’s Joon was recently cast in a lead role in the new film Actor is Actor.
On November 2, a spokesperson for the Kim Ki Duk Film, the production company of the film, reported that Joon was recently cast in the lead role in its new film.
Actor is Actor is produced by Kim Ki Duk along with Gifts from God and Red Family.
Shin Yeon Sik, who received many favorable reviews for his film, Russian Novel, at the 17th Busan International Film Festival in October, directs the film.
Joon plays the role of a top celebrity who suddenly loses his popularity.

On November 2 (KST), Super Junior, CN Blue, MBLAQ, After School, Rania, and Davici arrived at the Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez Airport in Chile to take part in the KBS *”Music Bank en Chile”*”" special.
Upon their arrival, the K-Pop singers were met with deafening screams and cheers as they came out of the gate to see a countless number of fans waving signs and cameras.
Fan accounts say that the stars were happy to see the fans, waving and smiling to the crowd despite being exhausted from the long flight. Donghae is said to have thought that there was a protest of some sort before realizing the screaming was for them. Yesung also wondered if the fans mistook the idol stars as famous soccer players.
When they arrived at their hotel, the members of Super Junior were spotted on the balcony of their room, watching eager fans, who gathered on the beach in the shape of a heart. Fan also saw the Super Junior and CN Blue members talking to each other from their balconies.

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon is in discussion to possibly join director Kim Ki Duk’s next movie.
Fresh off the global success of his movie, Pieta, pre-production for Kim Ki Duk’s next movie, An Actor is an Actor has begun. While reports initially claimed MBLAQ’s Lee Joon had already been cast in a supporting role for the movie, his side has come forth to deny he is on board but has confirmed he has received the script and is reviewing it.
Nevertheless, Lee Joon’s agency denied the MBLAQ member had even begun clearing his schedule for the filming schedule.
Lee Joon will already be busy in the coming weeks as he shoots for KBS’ Iris 2 and the industry continues to watch and see if Lee Joon will make a return to the big screen since Ninja Assassin.

During the episode, Shindong made a surprising revelation about Seung Ho saying, “Seung Ho once called the After School members to a drinking place and demonstrated his technique at making poktanju (highly potent alcohol drinks involving beer and other liquor).”
The stunned Seung Ho then tried to carefully explain, “It was a year ago at a birthday party with After School’s Jung-A, Nana, Lizzy and other same-aged stars.”
