MBLAQ’s Lee Joon is in discussion to possibly join director Kim Ki Duk’s next movie. 

Fresh off the global success of his movie, Pieta, pre-production for Kim Ki Duk’s next movie, An Actor is an Actor has begun. While reports initially claimed MBLAQ’s Lee Joon had already been cast in a supporting role for the movie, his side has come forth to deny he is on board but has confirmed he has received the script and is reviewing it. 

Nevertheless, Lee Joon’s agency denied the MBLAQ member had even begun clearing his schedule for the filming schedule. 

Lee Joon will already be busy in the coming weeks as he shoots for KBS’ Iris 2 and the industry continues to watch and see if Lee Joon will make a return to the big screen since Ninja Assassin.

It seems MBLAQ’s resident girlfriend stealer also has a skill in mixing strong alcohol drinks. 

MBC Music’s All The K-Pop recently recorded a Super Junior special, where a special MC, Seung Ho of MBLAQ, joined MC Boom.

During the episode, Shindong made a surprising revelation about Seung Ho saying, “Seung Ho once called the After School members to a drinking place and demonstrated his technique at making poktanju (highly potent alcohol drinks involving beer and other liquor).” 

The stunned Seung Ho then tried to carefully explain, “It was a year ago at a birthday party with After School’s Jung-A, Nana, Lizzy and other same-aged stars.”

MBLAQ's Lee Joon is being considered for a new film ‘An Actor is an Actor‘.

He has reportedly been cast as the main character of ‘An Actor is an Actor’, produced by Kim Ki Duk and directed byShin Yeon Sik. Kim Ki Duk has gained many praises and awards from his most recent ‘Pieta‘, so his next work is highly anticipated as well.

The movie tells the story of an actor whose popularity rises all of a sudden, but drops all the way to the bottom again. Lee Joon, who is currently confirmed for upcoming drama 'Iris 2', has previous experiences with acting, so the director’s choice is not a surprising one.

On November 1st, SBS broadcasted “K-POP Collection in Okinawa”. MBLAQ’s rigid suits, sword choreography and charismatic eyes have shook the hearts of Okinawa women.
