121101 [NEWS] MBLAQ’s Mir reveals he competed against Kim Soo Hyun for lead role in a drama

MBLAQ‘s Mir revealed that he and actor Kim Soo Hyun competed for a lead role in a drama.

During filming for the upcoming episode of ‘Idol Manager‘, the members of MBLAQ received acting lessons in order to become the “ultimate idol”.

Each member received the chance to reveal a dramatic incident in their lives, and Mir shared how he first became a trainee. He revealed he first became interested in the entertainment world because of his older sister Go Eun Ah.

He stated, “I auditioned for the drama ’Jungle Fish 1‘ and was eliminated in the final round of auditions.”

When Park Kyung Lim asked who ended up with the role, Mir revealed it was actor Kim Soo Hyun. The members then began to tease Mir, saying he could have been the star of ‘Moon that Embraces the Sun‘ and ‘The Thieves‘.

This episode of ‘Idol Manager’ will air on the 2nd at 6PM KST on MBC Every1.
