MBLAQ’s G.O. named idol-turned-actress Eugene as the prettiest celebrity! During a recent recording of MBC Every1’s “Idol Manager,” the boys talked about acting and analyzed current and former idols who have crossed over to acting as well as the characters they played.

Former S.E.S. member Eugene was one of the celebrities they discussed, and when someone first mentioned her name, G.O.  piped up, “She is the prettiest celebrity I have ever met.” MC Park Kyung Lim added, “She really is beautiful, worthy of her nickname as the Korean Olivia Hussey.”

During the discussion, the members also brought up Baby V.O.X.’s Yoon Eun Hye, Fin.K.L’s Sung Yuri, SHINHWA’s Eric, and more.

This episode of “Idol Manager” will be aired tomorrow, November 2, at 6PM KST on MBC Every1.

121101[NEWS]MBLAQ’s Mir Reveals He Once Auditioned For the Same Role as Kim Soo Hyun

MBLAQ may count a slew of other male idol groups out there as rivals but for MBLAQ’s Mir, it seems his rival was, at one point, none other than top star Kim Soo Hyun.

In the recent recording for MBC Everyone’s Idol Manager the MBLAQ members were asked to share on some of the most dramatic moments in their lives. 

Mir revealed a surprising story in which, before his debut, he was already famously known for his good looks and thus went to audition for the then-drama, Jungle Fish 1. 

Viewed favorably the drama’s production, Mir’s audition process was going smoothly until he was suddenly dropped at the final round.

When asked who eventually won the role Mir auditioned for, he revealed it was none other than today’s hot star, Kim Soo Hyun, who won the role and would eventually go on to star in hits like Dream High and The Sun and the Moon.

The members also took time during the same episode to evaluate and assess their seniors and peers as ‘acting-dols’ (idols who also become actors). 

G.O. candidly shared during this time that among all celebrities he has seen so far, Eugene, formerly of S.E.S was the most beautiful person he’s seen. 

He added her beauty was to the point he could fully understand why people compared her with the famous actress Olivia Hussey.

The MBLAQ members will also assess other acting-dols such as Yun Eun Hye, Sung Yuri, Eric and more when the episode airs on November 2.

• Kim Yeong-cheol as Baek San

The previous deputy director of South Korea's National Security Service. Although he was widely recognized for his outstanding skill while heading NSS, he was revealed by Kim Hyun Jun (NSS Antiterrorist Team 1 Agent - IRIS Season 1) as the head of the secret organization IRIS' Korea division. After his identity was revealed, he was detained until now. He will again play a key role as the man who knows most about IRIS.

A former North Korean intelligence agent who defected to South Korea and worked for the National Anti-Terror Service in Athena: Goddess of War.

In IRIS 2, he works as an agent for NSS.
