On the June 13 episode of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3', the MCs asked him, "You're famous for being tight with your money, but are you frugal when having a girlfriend, as well?". Lee Joon answered, "No. When I'm in a relationship, I spend money."

However, he reminisced about his previous girlfriend, saying, "But both my girlfriend and I were students, so we would usually split the bill. For example, when we would go out for dinner and a movie, I'd pay for whatever activity was more expensive." When MC Park Myung Soo asked, "Didn't your girlfriend not want to pay sometimes?", he answered wisely, "We were in the same situation, as students who didn't make money. Making the guy pay for everything is being sexist."

Lee Joon revealed that MBLAQ's palate has expanded beyond just kimchi fried rice.

On the June 13th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3', he revealed, "In the past, we complained that we lost our ability to taste because our meals were mainly limited to kimchi fried rice. But now we don't eat it anymore. After [we complained], the company decided to take a different route."

He explained, "The company pays for our food without a limit. Since they pay for our food, we eat food like crabs fermented in soy sauce that costs upwards of 60,000 KRW (approximately $53 USD). Even at night, we go to big restaurants."

The 'Happy Together 3' staff then revealed a paparazzi photo where Lee Joon was seen eating kimchi fried rice. He laughed and explained, "I think they wanted to take a picture of me with a woman, but I only hung out with the hyung in the photo. I think they gave up in the end and just settled for that picture. It's a really good picture. I was moving, and the picture came out really well. I'm thankful for the media outlet. They put it on a full page spread."

MBLAQ's Lee Joon gave us an insight to how he felt about making money.

He was a guest on the June 13 episode of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3' and the topic of income was brought up. Lee Joon said, "I make more money than the average person my age. But a lot of people think they'll be earning money like they are now for the rest of their lives. I think once you have that type of mindset, it's over."

He revealed that by saving up all his money that he earned, he even bought a house. He added, "Until now, it was my dream just to save all my money. But my aunt got sick, so I paid for some of her hospital fees. I went to see her, and she was all better. I was proud because while other people were busy spending money to buy foreign cars, I was [helping my aunt]. Right now, my goal is to live happily with those important people around me."

Now that we know what Lee Joon's thinking, maybe Lee Joon shouldn't be teased about his stinginess so often!

During the recent filming of KBS 2TV's 'Full House', Lee Joon was asked who's closest to his ideal type among girl group members.

Despite the many attractive female idols out there, he answered that he preferred the internationally famous Olympic athlete instead, saying, "I don't know about girl group members, but my ideal type is Kim Yuna. I like women with a sharp image. It's cool that she's maintaining her place at the top with unending persistence."

Known to be one of the stingiest idols in the Kpop industry, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon revealed that he’s all for Dutch pay, or paying separately, even when dating. 

Appearing on KBS’ Happy Together, Lee Joon shared that he wasn’t a stingy as people think he is. 

“When I’m dating, I spend money,” said Lee Joon. But then he added, “But [back then] my girlfriend and I were both students, so we used Dutch pay. But I usually paid for the more expensive meal or movie ticket.”

On the stereotype that men must pay for everything in Korea, MC Park Myung Soo asked if Lee Joon’s girlfriend tried to not pay.

“As students who were of the same status with no incoming salary, it’s sexist to make the men pay for everything,” said Lee Joon. 

While his statement was politically correct, it didn’t clear up his stinginess, as he revealed that he’s only spent 290,000 won for the MBLAQ members in the six years they’ve known each other. 

“It’s okay because all the members are from families with a lot,” said Lee Joon, making everyone laugh.

Lee Joon also shared his methods of saving money on during the show. 

The episode will air on June 13.

Just in time for their comeback, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Cheon Dung will lead Mnet’sM COUNTDOWN.

On June 13’s broadcast of M COUNTDOWN, Lee Joon and Cheon Dung will serve as special MCs for the live music program, introducing each artist to perform on the stage, as well as long-awaited comebacks. 

This particular episode will mark the comeback of the girl groups with After School, Ivy, SISTAR, Rainbow, and SKARF all making their return. Also included in the list of anticipated comeback are Nell, MBLAQ, as well as Super Junior-M Henry and Bumkey’s solo debuts. 

As a special performance, Huh Gak and A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji will sing their hit song, Short Hair for the first time on stage as well.

Other singers participating on the stage will be Shinhwa, 2PM, EXO, BTS, VIXX, Boys Republic, and 100%.

Still going strong, Shinhwa’s This Loveranked number one on Soribada’s weekly chart for the fourth time.

Music site, Soribada revealed on June 11 that Shinhwa’s This Love remained number one again for the first week of June, making it the fourth consecutive week it’s been at the top since its release on May 16. 

With strong contenders inching its way to the top, a Soribada staff member wondered if Shinhwa can go for a fifth time in the second week of June.

On June 10, MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon appeared on Mnet‘s “Beatles Code 2” and talked about his past “We Got Married” partner Oh Yeon Seo as well as refuting his Scrooge-like accusations.

MC Shindong asked Lee Joon, “Do you still keep in touch with Oh Yeon Seo?”

Then Lee Joon answered, “No, I don’t keep in touch with her,” and “At the time, I was filming a movie and since we stopped with ‘We Got Married,’ I was able to focus more on the movie. I think it was good that things ended.”

Previously, Oh Yeon Seo got involved in a dating scandal with Lee Jang Woo, which led the Lee Joon-Oh Yeon Seo couple to come to an end on “We Got Married.”

Lee Joon also disproved the accusations of him being a penny-pincher by sharing a story of how he bought $1,000 teddy bear.

He started by saying, “I recently bought a teddy bear and spent $1,000.”

He continued, “I relieve stress by sleeping but these days, I don’t feel refreshed even when I sleep. In the past, my fans gifted me with a teddy bear and when I slept with it, I slept really well,” as he explained the reason for his teddy bear purchase.

He added, “After buying that teddy bear, when I wake up in the morning, it feels like the bear is asking me if I slept well. I even have conversations with it.” Mir added, “The first thing that Lee Joon does when he goes home is to greet his teddy bear,” which made everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, during this episode, Mir and Thunder both talked about their thoughts on their older sisters, Go Eun Ah and Sandara Park, respectively.

MBLAQ's Mir and Thunder may both have older sisters in the entertainment industry, but the two of them have incredibly different outlooks on their sisters.

On the June 10 installment of 'Beatles Code 2', Thunder was asked if he thought his older sister, 2NE1's Dara, was pretty. He answered, "When I see her at home, I don't think she's that pretty. But when she's on stage with the others, I think she's really pretty." The MCs joked, "Are you saying the other female celebrities are ugly? Like Girls' Generation?". Thunder quickly corrected himself and stated, "I mean that since she's so pretty even among pretty people, I realize she's very pretty."

However, Mir thought the exact opposite! On his sister actress Go Eun Ah, he said, "My sister is the worst of the worst". When the MCs repeated what he said, he emphasized, "The worst of the worst of the worst! Even when my mother sees my sister at home, she says, 'There's a hobo over there'."

Still, Seungho chose Go Eun Ah as being closer to his ideal type, and Lee Joon said he'd pick Dara out of the two. As for G.O, he chose Dara because he saw Go Eun Ah and the rest of Mir's family too often.

A lot of idol stars have featured as guests on 'Weekly Idol', but the show's MCs,Jung Hyung Don and Defconn, chose INFINITE and MBLAQ as the most memorable of them all!

During the press conference for the 100th episode special of MBC Every1's 'Weekly Idol' on the 11th, the hosts were asked about their choice for the most memorable idol stars on the show. Defconn shared, "I definitely have to mention INFINITE. Because they feel like family, they fit well [with the program], and in MBLAQ's case, our minds were compatible. I also have affection for After School and BTOB. I love most idol groups."

Jung Hyung Don was more of a crowd-pleaser, answering, "Everyone was most memorable." Defconn also raised eyebrows by revealing he wants to bring one of the biggest international idols, Justin Bieber, onto the show.

'Weekly Idol's will air its 100th episode on the 19th.

Park HyeKyoung (whom we can assume knows nothing about MBLAQ) gave the MBLAQ members a personality analysis, approved by the members themselves.

On the June 10th episode of Mnet’s Beatles Code, singer Park HyeKyoung showed off her interesting words to the MBLAQ members.

When the MC Tak Jae Hoon asked her which MBLAQ member’s looks were her ideal type, she said, “The two guys in the middle look good,” choosing G.O. and Lee Joon.
She shocked the members when she said, “Even though G.O. jokes around a lot, he’s still so cute. Lee Joon looks like a playboy but he seems like he’s the kind of guy that is controlling and only knows his girlfriend.”

Thunder asked her for an analysis of the other members and she responded, “Seungho is the style that is arrogant to a girl. Thunder is a baby that still doesn’t know a lot. Mir likes a lot of girls but he can’t be in a serious relationship; he will be in a relationship with someone as friends.” MBLAQ approved of her analysis.

MC Tak Jae Hoon caused laughter by saying, “She didn’t even know the members’ names, but her analysis is amazing! Her analysis is more freaky than someone living a parallel life (knowing what will happen next due to a curse).”

On the June 6^th episode of Mnet’s Beatles Code 2, Seungho pointed out that his idea type is a pretty girl with vivid eyes.

He confessed, “When I look at a girl, I look at her eyes first, next her face, and finally her personality.  Appearance draws me in and I can also feel some appeal through her personality too.”

MBLAQ′s Mir had to change the picture he had put up on his portal site profiles after it swept the web.

His picture, from the teaser for MBLAQ′s new single Smoky Girl, had gone viral after some netizens thought it was too scary with the color lenses.

A rep from J Tune Camp said about the new issue on June 10, "We′re surprised, but we believe [it went viral] thanks to the attention of the public. We changed the profile image to a photo that is to be included in the offline album to be released tomorrow. Please continue to show your interest in MBLAQ′s Mir onstage and in variety."

In the new photo, Mir holds up a milky snake, staring at the camera with his own dark eyes.

The offline version of MBLAQ′s Sexy Beat as been released on June 11.

Lee Joon admitted that he hasn't really kept in touch with his former on-screen wife Oh Yeon Seo after their 'We Got Married' days.

Last year, Lee Joon had been an unintended victim when the Oh Yeon Seo-Lee Jang Woo scandal broke out, since he was the 'husband' of the actress on 'We Got Married' at the time. The on-screen couple ultimately stepped down from the show due to 'schedule issues', following a mysterious message Lee Joon wrote on his fancafe that left fans wondering if he was referring to his marriage on 'We Got Married.

On the 10th's episode of Mnet's 'Beatles Code 2', in reference to these past issues, Shindong asked him, "Did you get over the difficult situations? ". Lee Joon seemed a little confused at first, responding, "What? The difficult..situations?". Shindong continued, "You received a lot of pain". It was Mir who understood the reference first as he burst into laughter, and Lee Joon was only seconds behind, laughing himself.

Shindong asked, "Do you contact Oh Yeon Seo?", and Lee Joon stammered,"Uh..Well.. We don't really contact each other." 

Shindong explained why he brought up the topic, stating, "Weren't you affected negatively by it?". Lee Joon looked a bit confused about how he should respond, murmuring, "Well, I guess in a way, yes..."

"So after all that, you had to step down from the program," Shindong said. However, although the MCs might have thought the situation was 'difficult', Lee Joon revealed that the couple ending their run was actually good timing for him, as he stated, "But back then, I was filming my movie, so I think it ended at a good time as I was able to focus on my movie."

MBLAQ's Mir has been to extreme places. On 'Laws of the Jungle', he nearly drowned in the Amazon river, chewed crocodiles, and ate pieces of monkey brain. Shortly after, he appeared on 'Real Men', and on this program he got a chance to see what ROK Korean army training was really like.

As a guest on Mnet's 'Beatles Code 2', he was asked about his experiences on both shows. MC Yoo Sang Moo said, "Your face changed a little", and Mir joked, "It's rotting, right? As I promote more and more, my face deteriorates."

He added, "I've been to the jungle, and I've also been to the army. The jungle was difficult physically, and the army was difficult from a mental standpoint." The MCs teased, "But still, you get paid. Compared to the Amazon tribe members, you get paid a lot", and Mir admitted, "I went to both of them after I was paid", and then joked, "I was blinded by money".

Super Junior's Shindong exposed a bit of MBLAQ's dating history. 

On a recent episode of Mnet's Beatles Code 2, MBLAQ was forthcoming in revealing their ideal types and their dating style. 

Shindong took advantage of this situation and hereupon divulged, "MBLAQ is famous for being direct when it comes to confessing their feelings. There's actually a lot of women who are approached by MBLAQ."

Upon hearing this, the MBLAQ members dismissed the assertion by saying, "Despite mentioning our ideal types on broadcasts, we never easily approach them."   

Shindong, however, defied them by stating, "As far as I'm concerned, there was an occurrence where two MBLAQ members approached the same womansimultaneously." The MBLAQ members became startled by this revealing comment.   

On another note, Seungho declared his preference for women with pretty eyes while Lee Joon had preference for women with shapely legs.

MBLAQ’s Thunder recently showed off his “manner legs” towards his sister, which is drawing the attention from the public.

On June 9, Sandara posted couple pictures she took with her brother on her Twitter, “Even today, we are the warm-hearted siblings! Dara & Thunder.”

She later posted, “My Thunder, who showed some ‘manner legs’ for his petite-sized older sister! Oi! Who’s the dongseng?! Smile.”

Inside the left picture, Thunder shows off his “manner legs” by spreading his legs to create the illusion that there’s not much of a height difference with his sister. The right picture shows the result of his consideration.

Ever since MBLAQ and B2ST debuted on the same day, the two groups have been close friends yet rivals at the same time. In fact, the rivalry-friendship dichotomy between MBLAQ and B2ST is so famous that fans of the two groups fondly call the combination 'MBLEAST'.
