120912 [NEWS] MBLAQ Lee Joon “A word from Rain, I dropped out from Korea National University of Arts”

Idol group MBLAQ’s Lee Joon revealed his reasons for dropping out voluntarily from Korea National University of Arts.

In a recent SBS’ variety show “Strong Heart” broadcasted on the 11th night, featuring movie “Pieta“‘s director Kim Ki Duk, actress Jo Min Soo, actor Lee Jung Jin, Kara’s Seungyeon and Hara, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and volleyball player Kim Yeon Kyung, holding a talk battle.

Lee Joon said “After my admission into Korea National University of Arts, I felt very troubled. I would like to try acting through my body, and I dreamed of becoming stronger in my acting. At this time Rain (Bi) appeared, Rain said “I, am trying to find an old self of me. I like the expressions in your eyes and the way you act.” And I was told to dance hard, just like this with a word from Rain I left the school.”

And “I feel that my future will be like Rain’s, so I am happy and I am not regretful that I was selected” he added.

Lee Joon also revealed his story on the broadcast “Because life was poor, I have been working hard for three years in high school in order to get a pair of ballet shoes and a piece of dance costume. I also didn’t have money to go on school field trips, when my friends are going to China, I was practicing alone in school. In order to earn money I focused on practicing really hard and as a result, out of 53 people who took the test, I was 3rd in modern dance and 2nd in ballet, and I successfully got admitted into Korea National University of Arts.”
