Many fans sat in the front on the left side of the concert hall holding silver tassels to cheer for our Prince. They were particularly happy when our Prince turn to their side and acknowledged them quite often during his performance.  A fan gave her advice: bring silver tassels with you, the more tassels you have the more eye contact you may have with our Prince ^___^


In the middle of singing Hip Song, our Prince greeted the audience: "Nice to meet you all.  Are you doing well? Many fans came today!  It won't be long till we will meet again.  Until then, fighting!"


Our Prince has lost a lot of weight. A lucky Korean fan who managed to shake hands with our prince wrote about her wonderful experience:


As a polite cloud she had to wait until the end of the concert ,so she did not dash out to follow our Prince when he finished his performance.  She and her friends waited outside afterwards but did not see him.  A gag singer came out, saw the large crowd and commented "I believe there is such a large crowd because Rain is here today!"


The fans waited for a long while and still did not see our Prince, so they decided to leave.  On their way they saw a DEMA bus so they took the opportunity to ask the driver about our Prince.  The kind driver told them he hadn't come out yet so the five of them decided to wait there.


Soon they heard noises from the KBS hall and saw our Prince walking towards their direction.  He walked in big strides while fans around him had to run to catch up with him.  In an instant our Prince was right in front of them.  Intuitively they called out "Obba, Obba" and held out their hands.  Our Prince saw them and shook hands with them.


Our Prince then got into the DEMA bus and sat at the back. KCM followed and drew down the curtain. In between this short moment they saw our Prince's beautiful jawline and his white jade skin.


Our Prince continued to wave to the fans from his seat after he got into the bus.  As the bus left, he turned and waved goodbye again to fans from the rear window.

She said she did not want to use flash as it may cause discomfort to our Prince so the picture came out quite dark.  Our Prince was the first to come out, his pose well fitted to that of a squad commander^__^  and his hand is very warm!!

Korean fans waited outside the hall to wait for our Prince after the concert.  There was an officer in charge so they chatted to him happily while waiting.  Suddenly they heard a low, mellow voice: "Mr. Officer, you are leaving?" And then they saw our Prince walk out in big strides. Our Prince held out his hands first to offer handshake to the fans, and said to them: "Don't waste your words with that officer.  I am just kidding ^___^!"  Our Prince even asked the fans to take care of their health as the weather is still quite chilly.  He is such a warm-hearted, loving caring Prince!

130319 [NEWS] Rain faces a ₩ two billion lawsuit.

Rain, a singer and actor, and Mr. Kang, a former officer of clothing company 'J' (J.Tune Creative) face a ₩ two billion lawsuit claiming they cajoled clothing businessman Mr. 'Lee' into dumping ₩ two billion worth of assets in this company.

According to Mr. 'Lee', he heard the news from Mr. Kang that Rain would hold a major share in the company, and thereafter, he was urged to invest his money in the company and accepted the offer, but the company closed down two years after it opened. Mr. 'Lee', the plaintiff, then asked the court to grant them two billion won, insisting they ever meant to operate the company.

Before this, Rain who was charged with embezzling company J's public funds in December, 2010, was acquitted of all charges in the case, but the high prosecutor's office ordered the lower prosecution to investigate the case again the following year.

Rain lives on the 6th floor in the DEMA quarter.  Sometimes soldiers from nearby units will run into him in the elevator.

One day, as the elevator went down and the door opened, he stepped in and saw that Rain was also riding in the elevator. Finally he added that Rain is indeed different from others.  There were other entertainment soldiers next to him but all people could see is Rain.  That's perhaps the so called Rain's presence.

Actress Kim Tae-hee mentioned her boyfriend Rain (Jeong Ji-hoon) for the first time since their scandal broke out two months ago.

Kim Tae-hee attended the press conference of SBS drama "Jang Ok-jeong Lives in Love" held in Ilsan on the 11th. This was her first official event after news about her and Rain broke out in January.

- Your partner is Yoo Ah-in who is six years younger than you.

I watched "Punch" (Wandeugi) and was greatly impressed. He was someone I was interested in after watching the movie. I was happy to hear that he was my partner. It pressures me that he's younger but I think we can work it out. I have to lead him well but all my partners were older than me so far so I don't know what to do.

- You are in a relationship with Rain, does it help acting out love which is the key word of all dramas?

"We are just starting out. There's no change. I only see the drama in front of me. When it comes to love, I think I have to think about the many experiences I went through until now".

- Rain must've said something to cheer for you

"When things first started spilling out, I was very worried. It was right before the drama and I felt so bad for everyone working with me. I was so worried it might ruin things but he comforted me and said everything was going to be alright. He said everything would turn out as much as I worked hard for it".

Remember Rain’s sculpture-like body in the 2009 movie Ninja Assassin?

Well, it turns out that Rain is just like the rest of us - in that he likes to eat a lot and when he does, he gains weight too.

On February 27, Rain’s health trainer, a woman, Park Ji Eun came on MBC’s Good Day to demonstrate exercises and share tips on maintaining a healthy diet.
She also shared a backstory about Rain, saying “I call Rain by his real name Ji Hoon. Ji Hoon is also the type to gain weight easily. Although he is known for his awesome fit body, he had become sick of working out so much after undergoing extreme training for the movie Ninja Assassin.

She continued, “Ji Hoon has always loved eating. When he came to see me after filming for the movie, he was 16 kg (35 lbs.) heavier. I bet I was the only person to see him chubby. He came and told me he wanted to lose 16 kg for his new music video for Love Song. Another trainer and I helped him with the training.”
So how in the world does Rain keep his body so hot?

The trainer said of Rain, “When I tell Ji Hoon to do 10,000 jump ropes, he really jumps 10,000 jump ropes. He works out faithfully, doing everything exactly the way I tell him to do for homework. Shedding 16 kg is not a joke.”

Can anyone imagine K-pop without the music video? From Psy to Girls’ Generation, the music video is becoming the defining characteristic behind our favorite K-pop groups. In a sense, it may actually be more important than the song itself because when a new song is released, instead of buying the CD (that’s so 10 years ago) or downloading the MP3, fans are now looking straight for the music video. It sets the tone and concept, and in a lot of cases, the majority of the budget goes towards the music video compared to the album production.
K-pop music videos are some of the most innovative in the world today but there were some great videos from back in the day that were pretty influential in their own right. This week’s WBW will take a look back at some of the most influential old school music videos from back in the day and while they might be older, they’re still pretty cool to watch.

He had big hits before this but I don’t think you can argue that this song made Rain the man. He melds his unique dance style with an J.Y. Park original beat for one of his best videos and a K-pop classic that was the start of his journey to international recognition.
