130128 [NEWS] Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo to end their run on ‘We Got Married’

 

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon and actress Oh Yeon Seo will be leaving ‘We Got Married‘.
On January 29th, MBC revealed that Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo are in the process of concluding their run as an on-screen married couple on the fourth season of the show. At the earliest, the two will film their final episode early February.
The stars first became a couple on last year’s September 15th airing of the new season of ‘We Got Married’. They’ve been appearing on the show as a virtual couple for 5 months.
There have been complaints by viewers ever since Oh Yeon Seo’s scandal with her ‘Oh Ja Ryong is Coming‘ co-star Lee Jang Woo erupted. Though Oh Yeon Seo’s agency denied that the two actors were dating, the aftermath likely attributed to the actress and MBLAQ member’s departure.
For the time being, the show will continue with the Julien Kang-Yoon Se Ah as well as the Kwanghee-Sunhwa couple after the Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo leave the show.

Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo visited MBLAQ on the January 26th episode of ‘We Got Married 4‘.

The two took the pizza personally made by Oh Yeon Seo to give to the MBLAQ members, but unfortunately, Seungho and Mir, who were in the middle of recording the group’s new album, didn’t enjoy the pizza too much as the sauce was made of squid ink. Seungho commented, “Are you sure this is even edible?”

The actress was slightly nervous to meet up with Seungho as they attended the same high school eight years ago. Oh Yeon Seo stated, “I wish you would mention how kind and conservative I was in high school. I hope you say good things about me in front of my husband.”

Mir asked, “How far have you gone in terms of skinship?” Oh Yeon Seo responded that they’ve only held hands, saying, “We can hold hands at any time now.”

Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo then put both their hands together. Viewers noted that it was the first time the couple touched since the actress’ dating rumors with Lee Jang Woo surfaced.

On the episode of MBC’s We Got Married that aired on January 26, Oh Yeon Seo was introduced o her on-screen hubby’s “brothers”—MBLAQ’s Mir and Seung Ho. 

The actress came over the lads’ place with pizza that she made in the previous week’s episode. Before the visit, she seemed to look nervous when she was informed to meet Seung Ho, who went to the same Anyang Art & Entertainment as her. 

In the interview, she said, “Seung Ho is one of my alumnus, but we haven’t seen each other for 7 to 8 years. I hope today he will say I used to be a good student.”

Reunited after such a long while, the two alumnus looked awkward at first. Seung Ho said, “Nice meeting you as a sister-in-law after 8 years.” He soon broke the ice with some jokingly snarky remark: “But it’s annoying that you show up when we’re in the middle of recording.” 

Then the MBLAQ members enjoyed the pizza Oh brought in.
The solo lads also wondered how much the couple enjoy canoodling, asking the pair to hold hands. Oh and Lee Jun looked really shy but held each other’s hands, which left the solos jealous.

130126 [NEWS] Laws of the Jungle 3′ gains its highest viewer rating yet with latest episode

 

SBS‘ ‘Laws of the Jungle 3‘ continued its winning streak at #1 in viewer ratings for its time slot this week. In addition, they also broke their previous record as they achieved their highest viewer rating yet!
According to AGB Nielson Media Research, the January 25th broadcast of ‘Laws of the Jungle 3′ achieved an impressive viewer rating of 19.3% nationally and 21.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area. This was a 1.9% increase from its previous viewer rating of 17.4% nationally and marks their 5th consecutive week dominating the Friday time slot.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV‘s ‘VJ Special Forces‘, MBC‘s ‘Birth of A Great Star 3‘, and the premiere of SBS’ ‘Discovery of Trends‘ achieved a 9.2%, 7%, and 5.7% viewer rating, respectively.

130125 [NEWS] Military PR Units No Longer to Receive Special Treatment

The Ministry of National Defense has stepped in to stop Defense Media Agency (DEMA) PR agents from receiving more leaves than the average soldier.

According to the Ministry of National Defense on January 24, the army has cut off leaves or other rewards usually given to PR agents following performances in outer events. It has also emphasized that the agency should give PR agents the same number of leaves that are given to the average soldier, stopping them from receiving special treatment.

 

PR agents will also no longer be able to leave their unit alone even for work purposes. According to the new rules, PR agents must be accompanied by an executive whenever they must leave their unit, and they must return to their unit before 10:00 p.m.

When they are taken to another unit to perform in a military event, they must lodge within the unit or stay in welfare facilities, and they will be stopped from meeting outside civilians.

The new rules were put in place following a great public uproar that sparked from news that singer Rain used his leaves for personal means and meetings.

The producers of Iris 2 have been promising bigger thrills and chills, and from the looks of the latest teaser, they may be right.

KBS unveild the latest teaser for Iris 2 on the drama′s homepage on January 25.

Various heart-pounding scenes are jam-packed into the short, 30-second spot, giving us the first glimpses of Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, Yoon Du Jun and others in action. With explosions, gun fights, chases and torture scenes all seen in Iris 2’s trailers, anticipation for the sequel drama is building for fans.

 

A spokesperson for the drama shared, “This production will feature even more dramatic action scenes and will be supported by a tight and quick-paced storyline at the same time.”

Iris 2 premieres on February 13, but you can catch the new teaser trailer below
